Dalva de Oliveira (Rio Claro, May 5, 1917 - Rio de Janeiro, August 30, 1972) was a Brazilian singer. Daughter of a mulatto carpenter, Mario de Paula Oliveira, known as Mario Carioca, and Alice do Espírito Santo Oliveira, Vincentina de Paula Oliveira was born on May 5, 1917 in the city of Rio Claro, São Paulo. In 1935, the Cine Pátria, Dalva meet Herivelto Martins that formed beside the Francisco Sena the Preto e Branco duet, the duet was finished and began the Trio de Ouro. They started dating, and the following year began a conjugal life, formalized in 1939 in a ritual of Umbanda. The union produced two sons: the singer Pery Ribeiro and Ubiratan Martins. The union lasted until 1947, when the constant bickering and backstabbing by Herivelto put an end to marriage. As he adopted a daughter named Lucy Dalva de Oliveira Climent, Dalva which fought in court for custody of the girl, who stays with her husband, married years since he lived fighting. Dalva was a simple woman, and Tito wanted a fine woman and full of flourishes, always ready to serve all over the jump. In 1963, Dalva de Oliveira and Titus Climent officially separated. She returned to Brazil alone and sad, and the daughter goes to visit her on holidays, as the children who are at boarding school. Later, she meets Manuel Nuno Carpenter, a man many years younger, who would become her last husband.
