Que & Malaika

Que & Malaika is a talented musical duo and a couple from the Washington D.C. area who released one critically acclaimed album in 2004. Their style is a mix of Funk/R&B, Rock, and pop with a Hip-Hop edge. Que's signature instrument is the electric guitar in the vein of The Artist Prince, and he plays several other instruments and produces their debut. Que and Malaika both provide vocals with the later sultry distinctive voice compliments nicely with his heartfelt conscious lyrics. With the help from retired football player Ernie Green, the duo immersed themselves in the land of funk in Dayton, Ohio pairing up with legendary musicians and featuring the infamous George Clinton & The P Funk all-stars on their hit single "P in the Funk' which also featured rapper Eclipse. A sophomore release has been eagerly awaited after the online hit 'Runaway.' amongst others.
