Carlos Acosta

Venezuelan bass/double bass player and teacher (also appears as Carlos Acosta D' Lima or Carlos Manuel Acosta, born in Lagunillas, Zulia state, on January 23, 1942), lived in Bucaramanga, Colombia, where he co-created Los Be Bops in the 1960s, he also studied music in France before coming back to Venezuela where he played with numerous artists and groups, and also the Orquesta Sinfónica De Venezuela, and back again in Bucaramanga in 1995 where he integrated the Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga as a teacher.
