Austin, Texas singer, songwriter and musician originally from Seattle and Los Angeles. In his hometown of Seattle he is mostly remembered as the frontman of his bands "The Girls" and "The Lonesome City Kings". He moved to Los Angeles in the mid 80's after signing an artist development deal with MCA records but music had changed; it was the era of "Synth Pop" and "Hair Bands" so songwriters were out of style. In the late 1980's Rick moved to Austin Texas. Within a year of living in Austin he found himself opening for, and being produced by Joe Ely, writing songs with Jimmie Dale Gilmore, and landing a song writers contract with Warner / Chappell Publishing Co. In the twenty-five years Rick has been in Austin he has also become a sought after guitar player playing with Mark Ambrose, Bart Willis and The Bucktooth Varmints, and The Garett Endres Band. For the past few years a four piece Rock n' Roll band called "The Mooks" is where Rick has been putting his talent and energy into.
