Peter Reidemeister

Liner Notes author Dr. Peter Reidemeister was born in Berlin and lives in Basel for 40 years. He received his musical education at the music conservatory of Berlin studying flute under Aurèle Nicolet. He started as a member of the Berlin Philharmonics to advance to the Deutsche Bachsolisten later on. Since the 1970s Peter Reidemeister professional focus moved towards early music and musicology. In 1972 he received his doctor's degree on studies on the Burgundian chanson of the 15 century.
