Duccio Tessari

Italian film director and screenwriter [Genoa, Oct.11, 1926 - ✝ Rome, Sept. 6, 1994 (cancer)]. Known as 'Duccio' in the early 50s became an assistant director to Vittorio Cottafavi and Carmine Gallone on various films Sword and Sandal. In the 60s is the screenwriter of Per un Pugno di Dollari (A Fistful of Dollars) by Sergio Leone, with him and Sergio Corbucci one of the fathers of Spaghetti Westerns. In 1965 began the popular series of Ringo, by launching the actor Giuliano Gemma. Husband of Lorella De Luca and father of Fiorenza Tessari, both actresses.
