Greek lute player, vocalist, and teacher of lute & other folk stringed instruments of 'Dimotiko' style. Born in 1937 in Kandila Xiromerou, Aetolia-Acarnania, Greece. He collaborated with Βασίλης Σαλέας and Βασίλης Σούκας. He stopped playing music from 1969, when he left for Canada as an immigrant, until 1982. Upon his return, he resumed appearances, recording for ΕΡΑ and collaborating with well-known Greek and foreign traditional music artists, such as the Iraqi utist Munir Bashir. He founded his own school of lute and folk music in Athens, Greece.
