Christian Carbaza

French music industry impresario 'Christian Michel Carbaza' (born In France, died 7th April, 2012, in Woodbrook, a neighbourhood of Port of Spain), he will be remembered as one who strove to break through Trinidad & Tobago and the Caribbean's creative industries fashion, film and music (Soca) into the international market, also known for signed - during the disco era - more hits than any other record label in the world. Carbaza the legendary international A&R, was responsible for signing Soca star Machel Montano to Atlantic Records and has been credited with discovering Kevin Lyttle and Rohan Richards and introducing the Caribbean artiste, in the European market and he influenced many creative professionals in the Caribbean and around the world.
