Jack Ross (2)

American gospel and country session bass player active in Nashville, Tennesse. Former husband of Jeris Ross. He was also a songwriter, producer and manager. Born June 12,1941 in Bloomington, Illinois Died November 2,2013 in Alabama. Richard joined the Nashville Musician's Association in 1972 and was member till his death. Jack Ross, a Bloomington-Normal native, and Jeris Ross, a former ISU student from East Alton, were married in 1971. After being in the bands Maximus (17) and Woof (5), the couple moved to Nashville. Jack became a session bass player while Jeris focused on her solo career as a country singer.
