Jonas Lindgård

Swedish violinist, born May 25, 1968. Since 2001, he has been the first concertmaster of the Nordic Chamber Orchestra in Sundsvall. Soloist diploma at the Stockholm Academy of Music and studies abroad for Rainer Kussmaul and Isaac Stern. Has a duo with guitarist Jakob Henriques and has, among other things, released an album with an adaptation of Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade. The album also contains works by Charles Dieupart, Wilhelm Stenhammar, Niccolo Paganini and Wilhelm Peterson-Berger. Lindgård also participates in the Meja album Seven Sisters. Jonas Lindgård is the brother of cellist Kristina Lindgård and viola player Magnus Lindgård.
