Artist manager and industry consultant. Counts Elton John, Bryan Ferry, James Blunt, Lily Allen, The Hoosiers, and international management company Rocket Music his clients. His 12-year tenure with UK band Marillion launched pioneering direct-to-consumer business models in 1997 – models now widely adopted across the music and creative industries more than a decade later. Based in Oxford, Erik is a board member of the UK Music Managers Forum, contributing author to classic guide The Music Management Bible, training consultant to leading digital analysts Music Ally, regularly lectures at international business and creative arts conferences, and holds the Guinness World Record for fastest retail DVD ever produced.
