James McShane

Northern Irish-born performer (23 May, 1957, Londonderry, Northern Ireland - 29 March, 1995, Londonderry) better known as the face and (occasional) voice of Italo act Baltimora. McShane studied at a London stage school before becoming a backing vocalist and dancer for English recording artist Dee D. Jackson. Whilst touring with her in Italy, he settled in Milan where he worked as a Red Cross EMT and met Maurizio Bassi, with whom the Baltimora act was conceptualized. He passed away in March 29th 1995 due to complications of AIDS, having been diagnosed HIV-positive in 1994.
