Hector Costita

Argentinian sax and flute player (b. Buenos Aires, 1934), settled in Brazil. He was part of 'Bossa Rio' (Sérgio Mendes band) from 1962 to 1964. From 1973 to 1981, Costita joined the Nelson Ayres big band. He has performed and recorded with artists such as Lalo Schifrin, Manfredo Fest, Sérgio Mendes, Zimbo Trio, Hermeto Pascoal and Elis Regina.
