Neliah Fuchs. November 4, 1954: born in Ulm/Donau as the daughter of the Polish-Jewish businessman Jakob Fuchs and his wife Marie-Luise. Grew up in Stuttgart and Göppingen (Baden-Württemberg). In 1973 she came to her adopted home of Berlin to study German and Theater Studies at Freie Universität. After completing her master's degree, she works as a lecturer in the subject "German as a foreign language" at various language schools. 1981: Several trips to Lisbon and Sintra give Neliah's poetic style the decisive influence: the poetic climate of the city creates a "poetry of encounters" in which day and dream mix. 1983: Founding of the "Edition Sonnenbarke" with the Portuguese poet Jorge Menezes. In the same year "A Quinta Divisa - an automatic romance" appears. In the same year, Neliah presented her first music & poetry program with a performance with texts from "Quinta" and jazz improvisations by saxophonist Dirk Engelhardt. Translation and publication of the Portuguese book of poems "Numa cidade estranha"/"In a strange city" by Jorge Menezes. In 1984 she met John L. Noah, the science fiction writer and pioneer of free music. and publishes Noah's philosophical book "Arotic - 426 Thesen zur sanften Anarchie". 1986-89: "Poetry and Music" events with "Quinta Divisa" and poems, including at the surrealist festival "Berliner, das ist Euer Schwindel" with John L's band Reine Erde. 1991: Participation in the 1st International Jazz Festival in Kaunas (Lithuania) with the band TAL as speaker and percussionist. 1994: Neliah is represented on the CD production "Lonesome in Overdrive" (Reine Erde) with the "Theme" from "Quinta Divisa" set to music. Noah and Neliah married in 1995. 1999: "Logbuch" is published by Samira-Verlag, Offenburg. Founding of the duo "Out of Rail" with double bass player and electronic engineer Jack Lear. Several performances of "Out of Rail" with the "Logbuch" program ("Out Jazz" and lyric recitation) In the same year: Founding of the music agency "Mitmusikerzentrale" with Marek Golub. Organization of concerts with Russian artists and a series of concerts in the "Museum in the Waterworks". Worked on the musical "Apocalyptic" (working title) and the book of poetry "The Second Generation".
