Mexican musician, composer and arranger (Mérida - 23 Oct. 1918 – México D.F. - Mar 1997). He studied composition and guitar at the Conservatory of Music of Mérida. In 1930 he joined the Núñez Ensemble under the direction of his father. In 1930 he joined the Cpnjunto Núñez under the direction of his father. In 1936 he debuted at the XEFC. In 1938 he settled in Mexico City and worked as a copyist, musical transporter and arranger for prominent singers of the XEW. He is the author of more than 3,000 orchestral arrangements. His best-known songs are: "“Sé Muy Bien Que Vendrás”", recorded by María Luisa Landín, Juan Arvizu, Toña La Negra, Memo Salamanca, Mike Laure and the Orquesta Románticos de Cuba; “Serenata Tropical”, recorded by Los Tecolines, Marco Antonio Muñiz, La Rondalla Tapatía and the Orchestra of Xavier Cugat. They are also authored, "Déjame Amar", with lyrics by Monís Zorrilla, and "Un Consejo Cordial", with verses by Jorge Penich.
