Anatoly Kalvarsky (born 17 June 1934, Leningrad) is a Soviet and Russian composer, pianist, and orchestra leader. Since 1979-member of the Union of composers of the USSR. Since 1998 — Honored artist of the Russian Federation. Multiple winner of Russian and international jazz festivals, winner of the prize of the government of Saint Petersburg. Winner of the Grand Prix of the first all-Russian composer competition named after Andrey Petrov for the song "Without you" based on poems by Tatyana Kalinina. Awarded The Order Of Friendship.
