Cinise

CINISE, word from Furlan language meaning “ashes”, started in 1999 as collaboration-project between Gianfranco Santoro and Cristiano Deison. Both involved into the experimental and industrial scenes for years (in the 90's, Santoro with Nail Records shop and label, Cristiano with his own project simply named Deison and with his label Loud!), they decided to start this project mixing post noise electronic music and analogic sound research. Mainly based into sound development, the result is anomalous and difficult to describe. Involved into music also through information (they were both DJs since early 90’s in Radio Onde Furlane independent radio station, while Santoro collaborate with Italian magazines and some fanzines) in year 2004 they started a new label, FinalMuzik, to release innovative electronic music and new creative artists.
