Jacob Nyvall

Swedish church musician and composer, also a music writer and wrote mainly music for church use, born July 23, 1894 in Madesjö parish, died July 1, 1961 in Stockholm. Nyvall studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music and studied composition and counterpoint for Ernst Ellberg and Andreas Hallén. From 1920 until his retirement in 1959 he was an organist in Solna church and also a singing teacher in Solna folk school.
