Piero Von Arnim

Piero von Arnim (born 29 April 1950, Cape Town, South Africa - died 2012) was a South African actor and singer. He moved to Australia in 1971 and appeared as the lead character in the "Uncle Sam" deodorant commercials and acted in musical theatre. In the mid-1970s he moved to Germany and acted on German television and in films. He returned to Australia in the 1990s and lived there for the remainder of his life.
