Julio Nagib

Brazilian producer/artistic director/A&R manager, born in Sorocaba on August 21, 1929. After his beginnings in the world of radio (he started at S. Paulo Radio Tupy in the 40s), he became the artistic director of several record companies. First with Odeon and RCA, in 1965 went in charge at Discos RGE, then (1969) at the Fermata Group. Graduated in law, he was director of SICAM (the Brazilian society of composers and musical authors) and member of the Ecad (Brazilian rights society). Worked as a composer and lyricist too. He died on January 22, 1983.
