Bacalhau, artistic name of Marco Aurélio Mendes da Silva (Brasília, June 27, 1971), is the drummer of the Brazilian rock band Ultraje a Rigor. His first band was Little Quail & The Mad Birds, formed in 1988, with two albums recorded and participation in several compilations of Brazilian rock, including Where is my Rock'n'Roll?, tribute to Arnaldo Baptista. His second band was Rumbora, formed in 1997, also with two albums and participation in compilations. He is considered one of the most technical drummers in Brazil.
