Doctor Gregory Lyne

American choral director, musical arranger, vocal coach, music educator, and barbershop tenor/baritone vocalist. Dr. Lyne coached choruses and quartets all around the world and led the Masters Of Harmony Chorus to three international championships (1990, 1993, and 1996) and served as the director of music education for the Barbershop Harmony Society from 1996 to 2005. He sang baritone with the 1973 SPEBSQSA International Champions, the Dealer’s Choice from 1976-78 and sang tenor with The Personal Touch in 1970. He was a lifetime member of the American Choral Directors Association. In 2013, he was inducted to the Barbershop Harmony Society’s Hall Of Fame. He also received the Joe Liles lifetime achievement award in 2010. Born on September 22, 1946 and died on January 13, 2022 at the age of 75.
