Об исполнителе:
Founded around 1982 by the brothers Harald and Wolfgang Kaufmann in Munich. Both were guitarists and composers and had applied to various record companies with their songs. After some live showcases, e.g. in the Munich Rock Club Sugar Shack, where not only a few A&R managers, but also artists and producers such as Brian May, Lothar Meid, Reinhold Mack, the US band Airplay were in the audience, Tora finally got a record deal with IC. They hired the Australian producer and multi-instrumentalist John Capek to produce the first and only album. For the album release in 1983 a maxi single was released, with the A-side "Hot Rain" and the B-side "Pieces of Ice", the later song came from the pen of producer John Capek. Shortly after the Tora publication, the song was recorded again by Diana Ross in the US and went to the US Top 40. In the following two years, Tora toured Germany with the Climax Blues Band. In 1985 the band fell apart after some internal problems.
