Jeff Evans (5)

Australian musician, engineer / producer, mastering engineer, composer, audio engineer and sound designer. Owner / operator of Jemusic (J E Music) - his third studio now located in Ballarat, Victoria 3350, with partner Louise Hildyard. Previous studios were Jemusic Studios in Canberra, ACT, and Jemusic Recording Studio in Melbourne, Victoria. Jeff studied, worked and played (drums) in a variety of bands in Canberra from 1968 until 2002 and then moved to Melbourne. He has also completed a degree in Jazz studies and plays percussion, piano and keyboards. He began composing and producing electronic music around 1980 and established the first Jemusic studio soon afterwards. As well as engineering and production work, he has composed soundtracks for various mediums. Jeff has also taught sound production, audio engineering, music technology and music performance subjects at the NMIT TAFE college in Melbourne.
