Max Abbey

Swedish guitarist, (born Mats Claesson, now Bryzell), born April 24, 1962. He has toured with, among others, Efva Attling, Anne-Lie Rydé, Ratata, Mikael Rickfors, E-type, "Vargtass" Duane Loken and is best known as a member of the Swedish New Wave group Strasse. Max Abbey got to play guitar with Ultravox on their U-Vox Tour in 1986. As the duo Great Guns, along with singer Russ Rydén, Abbey released the single "Walk Me Through The Storm" in 1987. Abbey is affiliated with Luminol Grammofon. In 2001, Strasse reunited and released the album Transylvanian Flower in 2005 and Half Past Animal in 2009.
