American songwriter, married to Lloyd Green. Also known as Dorothy Edwards and known to friends and relations as "Dot". Born February 24, 1937 Maury County, Tennessee Died September 10, 2016 Madison, Tennessee. Her top charted songs include by "Trumpet Pickin'", an instrumental by Al Hirt, which reached #27 on the U.S. Adult Contemporary chart 1966 and "Wish I Was a Little Boy Again" which she co-wrote with Glenn Sutton and was sung by LaWanda Lindsey which rose to #60 on the U.
