English pianist and organist. Born in Whitehaven, Cumberland in 1934. Danny Hodgson spent seven years with the Royal Military Acadamy band, playing piano as well as brass. On leaving the forces he joined the George Bradley band. He also spent time playing for Ken Mackintosh and backed singers Susan Maughan and Dennis Lotis. Danny also played cabaret on the Queen Elizabeth II. Danny went on to be the Hammond demonstrator at Chappells of Bond Street.
