Henri-Georges Clouzot

French film director, screenwriter, dialogue and producer born November 20, 1907 in Niort, active from 1931 to 1968. His first three films are noticed for their thriller. Two others, Le Salaire De La Peur and Les Diaboliques are filed under the best films of the 50's. He also directed documentary films. After the Liberation, he was forbidden to work until 1947 cause of his film Le Corbeau directed in 1943. He died January 12, 1977 in Paris.
