Swedish guitarist, born in 1966. He is a member of the Gothenburg-based band Destiny since 2005. Before that, Åberg played in Nostradameus (four records) from 2000-2006. Michael Åberg is also active as a guitarist and lead singer in several rock bands such as Fancy Pants, Metal Für Alle, 100% ROCK and others. Åberg grew up in Östersund and moved to Gothenburg in 1990. He has participated in several TV programs, European tours, guitar clinics, etc. Michael Åberg came into contact with various musicians early on and has formed bands with Magnus Rosén (HammerFall), Michael von Knorring (ex Yngwie Malmsteen), Snowy Shaw (King Diamond, Dream Evil etc.), Kristoffer Göbel (ex Destiny, Falconer ). Michael Åberg's influences are mainly Deep Purple, Rainbow, Yngwie Malmsteen, Krux, Dream Theater. Åberg has also performed at Gothenburg's big arenas such as Ullevi and Scandinavium.
