Dollarama

Toronto, Canada-based experimental music collective. As a band, they performed with items from dollar stores such as foil pans, coat hangers, cheese graters, old music tapes or plastic tubs rather than traditional instruments. Audience members were invited to join in with their own “instruments.” Originally active around 2006, the band’s music was released in 2016 via member Eric Warner’s label. The core trio of the band was Aaron Bronsteter, Eric Warner and Matthew King. Other members in the rotating cast have been Lee Weisblatt, Sonny T-Light, and Christina Miller.
