Grayson Warren Brown is an internationally known liturgical composer, songwriter, author and recording artist. He began his ministry in the late 1960s in a small inner-city parish in New York City where he learned early on how significant an authentic, spirit-filled experience of worship can be to people in need of hope. His many years in a multicultural parish have given him a unique insight into the power that good liturgy can instill in people of all backgrounds. Grayson has many collections to his credit, including early releases like If God Is for Us, Been So Busy, Have You Heard the News, and Half Way Home. His songs “Jesus, the Bread of Life,” “If God Is for Us,” “God Be in My Head” and “Sing a New Song” have long formed part of the standard repertoire in Catholic hymnals. His most recent release, Praise the Lord in Many Voices, is an eclectic collection that gives voice to a diversity of Catholics, expressing our love for God in English, Chinese and Filipino. Grayson is the author of three books, including his 2015 release The Transformative Power of Faith. Grayson is now dividing his time between writing, composing and traveling the country giving workshops, speaking at conventions and conducting nights of renewal and parish missions. His down-to-earth approach to liturgy and Scripture, coupled with his dynamic speaking style, has made him one of the most sought-after presenters in the U.S. today.
