Australian vocal trio. Pat (Elaine Patricia 1918-2010) Marie (Marie Therese 1920-1979) Eula (Eulallie Lucie 1923-1985) Australian National Radio Stars during WW2 the Parker Sisters who admired the style of the Boswell Sisters, climbed to fame firstly with Harry Bloom and his Tango Band. They went on to work with orchestra leaders such as Jim Davidson, Bob Gibson and Jim Gussey arranging all their own material. An exceptional musical talent The Parker Sisters played a huge role in troop and wounded soldier entertainment and joined U.S. entertainer Joe E Brown during his tour of Australia. They later performed with Tommy Trinder at the Tivoli Theatre and performed during the Queen's visit. Pat married but continued to work in radio and jingles and went on to author children's books. Marie married accordion player Lou Toppano and worked in TV and with Lou at his school of music. Eula had ambition and headed for the UK to make her mark.
