Isak Sundström

Swedish musician, songwriter, writer and artist, born 28 November 1983 on Gotland. Sundström grew up in Sproge in southern Gotland. He published his first book Finally I got pain in my eyes in 2005. In the same year he formed the group Pascal together with Manuela de Gouvia and Mimmi Skog. The three moved to Stockholm the following year when they also released their debut album Förbi fabriken. In 2008 Sundström published his second book Buren. Sundström attended the bachelor's program at Konstfack 2008–2011 and then the master's program 2013–2015. Since 2017, Sundström has released three albums as a solo artist, one of which is a double album: Antropofagernas rike I and II from 2020, published by Teg Publishing. Besides Pascal, he is also a member of Skriet and Rocks and Waves Song Circle. Sundström's characteristic singing style has been compared to Olle Ljungström. Sundström is living together with the artist and filmmaker Tova Mozard and together they have a son.
