Zé Leonel

Zé Leonel (b.1955) was a Portuguese musician and songwriter, was the vocalist for the rock group Xutos & Pontapés until 1981, and then co-funded Ex-Votos in 1989, he was influenced by the 77 British punk rock groups The Sex Pistols and The Clash, was part of the first wave of the Portuguese punk rock movement. Passed away in April 2011 at home of liver cancer.
