Hans Freivogel

(* May 18, 1911 in Blagorodovac, Yugoslavia; † March 14, 1985 in Cape Coral, Florida) Tenor horn player, conductor of various brass bands, composer and arranger. He studied at the conservatory in Graz (Austria), but had to flee the country with his family of six. From April 1946 he lived in the Stuttgart area (southern Germany). He has received several awards for his work as a conductor and composer and for his commitment to brass band music.
