Bill Holford

Owner of Houston, Texas based ACA Recording Studios, Inc. He started the business in Chicago in 1947, moving it to Houston in 1949. In 1972 ACA's temporary location at Savoy Drive in Houston moved into the acquired defunct studios of Jimmy Duncan's Soundville at 8208 Westpark, Houston. Soundville Studios was a division of Jimmy Duncan Productions, Inc.. After ACA closed, Holford worked as an engineer at Sugar Hill Studios from 1988 to 1990 and ran another studio, Bill Holford Sound until 1994. He passed away in March 1999.
