My work includes compositions for chamber ensembles, choral groups, contemporary dance, media installations, film and television, site-responsive performances, percussion and taiko, orchestra, opera, and theater. Raised in Seattle, my current studio is in the Bay Area, where...I teach courses that incorporate acoustic ecology, composition, theory, and social history as an Assistant Professor of Music in Performing Arts & Social Justice at the University of San Francisco.
