Miriam Oldenburg

Swedish accordionist and pianist, born January 13, 1965. She works as a freelance musician, mainly in klezmer, folk and world music and cabaret. She has also participated in storytelling performances and as a theater musician in about twenty productions, including at Stockholm City Theater, Performing Arts Sörmland and the Radio Theater in Swedish Radio. In 2012, Oldenburg toured with the Canadian neo-circus ensemble Cirque du Soleil in the performance Corteo. In addition to her regular ensembles Stahlhammer Klezmer Classic, Lindy & Bon Bon Band, Klez is More, Trio MozkovitZ, Parizad and Glädjeflickorna, she has collaborated with widely differing artists such as Maya de Vesque and Chesty Morgan, Anne Kalmering, Kjell Fageus, Hai & Topsy, Mats Rehnman, Sofia Berg-Böhm and the opera Divine. She was chairman of the Swedish Klezmer Association from 2006 to 2009.
