Clarence A. Robbins

American author of horror and mystery novels, better known as Tod Robbins (born June 25, 1888 in Brooklyn, New York, USA – died May 10, 1949 in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, France). Robbins attended Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, where he wrote the lyrics to what became the university's fight song, "Washington and Lee Swing" (1910; the music was by Mark W. Sheafe and Thornton W. Allen).
