Игорь Балакирев

He was born in Leningrad in 1969. Graduated from the choir school at the St. Petersburg Academic Chapel M.I. Glinka. For some time he lived and worked in the USA, toured with Russian spiritual music as part of the chamber choir "Revelation" in Europe. He graduated from the University of Arts in piano and vocals. He writes music for the theater, as well as romances for poems by Russian classical poets. Currently, he serves as a chorister in the cathedral of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God in St. Petersburg.
