Bengt Hillson

Swedish artist and producer from Dalarna, called Charlie, born March 15, 1953 in Avesta, Kopparberg county. He has participated in the Swedish Melodifestivalen twice. In Melodifestivalen 1979 he wrote the music for "En egen fela" and in Melodifestivalen 1982 he both wrote and performed the melody "Då kommer min ängel" which finished in joint sixth place. He has since worked as a music producer for over 25 years. Some artists and groups he has worked with are Nordman, Monica Zetterlund, Harpo and many more. He is the father of the artist Joakim Hillson.
