Memphis Willie B.

Blues singer, guitarist and harmonica player, born Memphis, Tennessee, November 4, 1911, died in the same city, October 5, 1993. Willie Borum had played second guitar behind Hattie Hart and Allen Shaw on records already in 1934, but his main legacy to posterity consist of the songs Samuel B. Charters recorded with him in August 1961, material enough to produce two LPs on Bluesville.
