Norman Buchan

British politician (b: 27-Oct-1922, d: 23-Oct-1990) and former teacher, who was also active in traditional Scottish folk music, both as a song-writer and compiler of a book on Scottish songs. He represented seats in the West of Scotland for the Labour Party between 1964 and 1990.
