Radio play actress January 17, 1908 - December 2, 1945. Born in Spokane, Washington she studied acting at The Finch School in New York City. She worked as a therapist, social worker, linen store manager, and model before embarking on a career in radio in 1932. She was best known for her role as Ruth Evans Wayne on the radio program, Big Sister, which she began in 1936 and her role as Margo Lane on The Shadow radio program which she began in December of 1939, replacing former actress, Agnes Moorehead.
