Domingos Luís Garcia (Minguito) was born in Bengo district, Caxito village, in the Kijoão Mendes neighborhood, and from a very early age, at 14 years old, he completely lost his vision. But the talent and gift of making musical art was always in his mind, Minguito started on the harmonica and then also played the accordion. Still in Caxito, he formed his first musical group called "Os 3 Jovens de Caxito" and later went on to a solo career, having recorded several musics and songs. Minguito is second only to Urbano de Castro in number of recorded vinyls, he recorded with the best groups of the 70s, like "Os Kiezos", "África Ritmos" and "Conjunto Os Merengues", singing both in portuguese and kimbundu.
