Sledě, Živé Sledě
Настоящее имя: Sledě, Živé Sledě
Об исполнителе:
Czech avantgarde rock group, formed in 1995, disbanded in 2002. The music was often characterized as Chamber Rock, although the group referred to alterative terminology to describe their activity, including Meditative Rock’n’Roll, Unpopular Songs and Restless Beauty. The group played many concerts and performances in various venues across the Czech Republic and have appeared abroad in Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Slovakia and Spain. “Sledě, živé sledě” translates as “Herrings, Live Herrings”, three words which symbolize both the trio and a certain kind of symmetry that the group tries to create on stage. Each musician contributes to the complexity and simplicity with their unique approach and experience, which can be most easily understood through the metaphor of a school of silvery herring dashing through the water turning left, right and then heading backwards at unexpected moments at varying paces reflecting the rays of the sun in their glittery scales as they move, one unit to the observing eye.
