Bass player Zach Levi Anderson was born on October 19, 1989 and grew up in a small town called Story City in the state of Iowa, USA. He started playing music when he was 14. Growing up Zack played guitar and drums. Influenced by Psychedelic Rock from the sixties he started jamming with his stepbrother Cory Berry. When Zach was 16 he joined the band Radio Moscow (2), also from Story City, as bass player where he replaced Luke McDuff. Cory Berry often joined Radio Moscow as their live drummer. Zach played in the band for about 5 years and left the band when he was 21, because, in 2011, he met Swedish singer Elin Larsson in California. They started writing music together and decided to form the band Blues Pills. Cory Berry joined them in Blues Pills. The two main influences of Zach are Geezer Butler from Black Sabbath and James Jamerson who was the bass player on most recordings from Motown from the late 60’s.
