Born: November 11, 1944 Died: June 15, 2013, in San Antonio, FL Eddie Vespa was born in Springfield, Illinois in 1944. Starting his musical career in a rock and roll band. After graduation from school he went on to club dates in Illinois and Wisconsin getting experience on the saxophone, organ and learning the harmonica. He played in groups as big as seven pieces and as small as one. Some used to call him the one man band. In 1970, Eddie started doing comedy. He soon found out, people really enjoyed it so he did more and more comedy. It was during this period he first stated collecting and telling toasts for the people to drink by. Letter to My Ex-Wife, has always been Eddies favorite and most requested joke. It was recorded in 1974 and released by LA VAL RECORDS on the VIC RECORD label. It automatically became a jukebox hit.
