Artist manager, musician and record label executive, born in London on 17 January 1965 to Latvian parents. In his late teens Andrups created The Story So Far fanzine and, in 1980, recorded a Kinks cover as Yohawks with Barracudas singer Jeremy Gluck. In the early 1990s he worked at the I.R.S. Records office in London where he coordinated the releases on Tribe Records (4), an early incarnation of Tribal America. Further collaborations followed with Tribal America founder (and fellow I.R.S. employee) Rob Di Stefano. Andrups met Roger Sanchez for the first time in the early 1990s: "When he left Tribal, I told him that I had no rep in the UK and no manager, and together we dreamed up the whole way of creating my career." Andrups went on to become Sanchez's first manager and together they ran Narcotic and production and management company Indeep (Indeep Productions). At the same time he managed Masters At Work, Ashley Beedle, Trevor Jackson and Jackson's hip hop group The Brotherhood. Died in London on 10 June 1995.
