Buddy Duhon

American musician, guitarist and singer, who recorded mainly in Dallas, Texas, in the 1930s and 1940s both as a solo artist and with bands, including Bar-X Cowboys and The Sons Of Dixie. At the time of his death he was based in Beaumont, Texas, and had sang in the band of Cliff Bruner for seven years. Born: 18 March 1913 in Broussard, Louisiana Died: 28 March 1949 in Jefferson County, Texas (accidentally drowned after his boat turned over while fishing near Taylor's Bayou)
